Oliver Spencer
Autumn Winter 2010 collection
With inspiration rooted in Great Britain's sartorial heritage, Oliver's latest collection reflects his vision of the modern British wardrobe. The majority of his production continues to take place here in the UK.

In a distinctively hard-wearing collection outerwear is key with Oliver looking to improve upon classic workaday garments such as the 'Donkey' jacket. The 'Duffle' coat is also reworked here in waxed cotton; the line and length tweaked accordingly. The Trench Coat and Pea Coat are given similar treatment -Oliver's nautical leanings are referenced in the red, waxed 'Quay' jacket.

Knitwear is robust with the heavy knit 'Conduit' cardigan offering a nod to melange and jacquard fabrics. The 'Atlantic' jumper references seafaring garments adding a shot of red to the placket. Cable knits and striped crew necks also feature.

Oliver continues to develop his vision of a classic 3-piece suit, offered here in mix-and-match woolen styles and sturdy herringbone fabrics. Woolen trousers are made to be rolled up and, when combined with a Cut Away jacket, muddle the boundaries between the formal and informal.

n shirting 'Eton' collared styles are offered alongside classic spread collars and button-downs. Fabrication is key with staunch cordorouy and heavyweight oxfords complimenting the colourful collection of cotton checks.

Accessories including belts and scarves are offered alongside a collection of classic 'Chukka', 'Oxford Cap' and 'Brogue' boots and shoes, all updated with red, black or white crepe soles and made in Northampton, England.
