Montrose/Morval Fabric
These two fabrics are waffles weaves, consisting of raised threads that form small rectangles, which produces a really tactile three-dimensional effect. To be technical, it’s the combination of warp and weft floats that creates the structure. Besides its unique texture, waffle fabric is a brilliant summer cloth since the raised ridges allow air to flow through the fabric.
