Bar44 in the Royalton – hottest waitresses in NY, the usual drop a bit of Serge as well.

Agree about Fanelli Cafe in Soho too.

For steaks Poter House – don’t be put off by the fact it’s in the Time Warner centre it over looks Central Park and is the BEST by far steak in NY; from NJ gangsters to Upper East toffs everyone eats there. check it’s site
